Lontano? Determinato? Indeterminato?

MODALITA’ DI UTILIZZO

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE:

Es.: I HAVE EATEN this morning_ The morning is not finished. Maybe it’s 11 A.M. right now (still morning).

Es.: I ATE this morning_ The morning is finished. Maybe it’s 3 P.M. now (afternoon).
  2. un’azione svolta in un momento preciso, temporalmente determinato. Es.

this morning (quando è ancora mattino); this afternoon (quando è ancora pomeriggio); this evening (quando è ancora sera); today; this week/month/year; ever, never, yet, already, just; recently; lately.

PAST SIMPLE TENSE:

this morning (quando la mattina è trascorsa), yesterday morning; this afternoon (quando il pomeriggio è trascorso), yesterday afternoon; last night, yesterday evening; yesterday, the day before yesterday; last week/month/year; a minute/an hour/a week/a month/a year ago; in 1995, in the XVI century.
